Welcome To Our Blog

Hello, gentle reader.

My name is Peanut and I am a Jack Russell Terrier. This is my first time writing a blog but I believe I have maintained a steady internet presence in the years since I was born - thanks mostly to the humans who live with me. I take care of them with my guarding skills, and I also contribute many landscaping efforts to their various garden beds. For some reason this upsets the big one. Still I persist in showing my love with barking, digging, and chewing stuff.

I have a brother who is kind of dumb and I steal from him a lot; mostly food, plus the occasional chew toy. Inanimate, non-food objects have long been a source of fascination for Koko, and I totally understand that. I really get it. Who among us would not love more than life itself to simply chew something of indeterminate origins? It is a reliably proven method for claiming ownership. I am proud to say I own most of the things in the yard.

Koko and I have been asked to take care of a human next week and we are both really excited about this. I think he's a friend of the big human. I hope he lets me and Koko do lots of digging and chewing. I hope he likes chewing stuff. We really like chewing stuff, me and my brother Koko.

Here is a photo of me and Koko sleeping in our bed.

Did you know that these 'photos' are not real dogs? It took me so long to figure this out. Photos and 'mirrors'. These are the work of the Dog Devil.

While Peanut is barking at the door, allow me to include you in a little secret, readers: Peanut thinks he is a human. He thinks 'Jack Russell Terrier' is a type of human. It would be cruel to shatter his grandiose delusions, so please nobody email him and mock his canine facets. Yes, we do like to chew things and of course digging up a garden bed is a favourite pastime. What would you do in our situation?

I can't exactly sign up for a credit card and purchase classical music from the iTunes store - yes, I know what the iTunes store is - so hold off on your judgemental mockery as my brother and I stave off insanity by passing our days with canine activities such as team sleeping and unnecessary barking.

That's all from me for now; Peanut is chewing my leg so I had best attend to that, and not let him realise the extent of my computer literacy.

 - Koko
